What are your thoughts and opinions on how do you feel about letting your boyfriend or girlfriend telling u what to wear and how to dress?

I don't think it's okay. I dated a guy who was abusive and controlled my whole life. He went through my closet and threw out any clothes that he didn't like or were too revealing so... I feel like we should be able to wear what we want or what we feel most comfortable in even if it "slightly" revealing. I'm not dressing to impress other people. I dress for myself.

If you're into it, it's cool. So long as there's no pressure there. I think dressing to impress whoever you're with is nice sometimes, too. I'm in a bsdm relationship, and I often tell my boyfriend how to dress, or buy him clothes. But he loves it, he likes my sense of style. And if he happens to disagree with something I choose, or has something in mind to wear for the day, it's never an issue.

My boyfriend doesn't tell me what to wear but does get a little mad and over protective. What I personally think is that it's bull. If you feel proud in what you wear skinny jeans to shorts or a baggy tee to a cute blouse. It's all your decision and shouldn't be anyone else's!  The trust lies within you and your physical being not clothes! (:
