What is your stance on wine during pregnancy?

I take the stance that a half a standard glass once in a blue moon would be fine; but honestly, if I can't say, "no" to wine for a few short months of my ENTIRE life, then I need to reevaluate myself.  So while I wouldn't judge someone else for endulging in a small amount, I probably would judge myself pretty harshly.

The new regulations released this year are very clear that no amount of alcohol consumption is safe during pregnancy.

I love my wine and beer but there is no way I could drink during pregnancy, first of all it doesn't even appeal to me and second, I would never forgive myself

I know an older lady who drank martinis and cocktails throughout all her 3 pregnancies. 2 of her sons are Harvard grads, and the 3rd has a PhD. Also, back in the day doctors used to PRESCRIBE dark beer to expectant mothers believing it helped with milk production. I say if it's in moderation, you're fine.

I know there are a lot of studies on this and even doctors don't agree. 
For me, I'll be avoiding all alcohol for at least my first trimester when the bulk of development happens. I don't think I'll turn down a champagne to toast my friends' new marriage in my last month. 
But I don't think there will be much reason for me to drink otherwise.

It's totally up to you if you want a glass of wine. I personally am not in the mood for anything my nausea is awful and I prob won't have any wine during my pregnancy but everyone is different. No one should judge u if you have a glass of wine or not. Some Drs say it's safe some don't just like deli meat hot dogs and sushi. I say whatever you feel will be right for you happy nine months ❤️
