What is this? 3D scan confusion

I think I can see ears but not sure if the baby is forward facing or if that's the back of their head? anyone good at deciphering ultrasounds?

Little one is facing away from the camera. Those lumps on his/her head are skull bones and a lovely soft spot.

I'm not a professional in any way but my first instinct says yes those are ears and facing away. Just a guess though!

Looks like the back since you can't see the facial features which around 12 weeks they aren't too noticeable but you would be able to see the umbilical cord sure does look like ears to me 😄
