I completely believe in them. Here's my story that still to this day scares the shit out of me....

I was living in a 3 bedroom apartment. From the day my children (who were 2 & 4) & I moved in, I would ALWAYS hear scratching noises in my closet, and sensed something at the end of the hall. My friend and her 2 children moved in temporarily with us and things began to get worse. Music would turn itself up, or down. The cabinet doors would lightly bang. My daughter would scream in her room at night for hours.

One night, when we got all of the kids to bed (in the same room), my friend and I sat on the porch. The porch was right next to the room the children were in & we had left their bedroom window open because my ac was broken.

The minute her and I sat down, we hear a mans voice coming from the bedroom. A little louder than a whisper so you could fully distinguish that it was a male voice. Within seconds of hearing the voice, my 2 year old daughter screamed louder than she ever had. My friend and I ran into the room and my daughter is clawing at me to get the hell out of her bed.

THAT NIGHT, I called a local group of ghost hunters in my town. They were over the next morning. I walked through the house with a lady and she would ask me things that nobody else knew.... Like if I heard scratching coming from my bedroom closet. I f'ing LOST it. They stayed for many hours in my apartment and my friend and I were asked to leave. When we came back, they told us that the spirit was not a good one. They told me that in the hallway (where I always sensed the presence), it was drawn to my house, and that hallway because it was where I had 20 pictures of my kids hanging up.

After they came, I never had another problem in my apartment.

All of this is true & scarier than shit. Definitely made a believer out of me more than I even was.
