Hi everyone I am 39 and have three children 16,15,&12. I unexpectantly found out I was pregnant last April and had a dating sonogram unfortunately there was no fetal heartbeat at 7w4d. I had a D&C and was heartbroken. We decided to try again and I found out on Halloween that we were again pregnant. I went for my sonogram today which should have the baby around 8w3d. The measurements of the baby are 6w2d and we were able to see the heartbeat. I'm really scared because I know all of my dates and am sure as to when the baby was conceived. When the doctor called me at home tonight he suggests another sonogram next week to recheck the baby's growth. I asked about the baby's heart rate and the Doctor said that he didn't want to scare me but the rate was considered too low to get a heart rate. I appreciate him being honest with me but I am scared.
