The diary of a Nanny

What a lovely job it is, that is the one a nanny has. Many children walk in and walk out. Each receiving a little bit of our heart as we really do love them much like a parent would. Sure you may think that is not impossible, for only a parent can love their child that much. But that quite simply is not true. from day one they take a little bit of our love and as they grow the love for them does as well. Yet it is different then any parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, or even grandparent. It is a type of love that hopes for your future, but has restrictions as we know one day, we will no longer be there to see it. It's the love that gets to see you learn how to walk and talk,and giggle and silly little things, and know all your little hangups for when a parent is not near. It is different and yet still just as powerful because your wonderful parents allow us into their home, and the least this nanny can do is love you.
