Any pregnant women taking Metformin during pregnancy?

Hi I am 12 weeks and 4 days and I have been on Metformin for over a year. Doc told me to keep taking my metformin during my pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone else is taking it and is it safe? Any mothers who have already had thei babies while taking metformin had any problems?

Mine told me to stop it at twelve weeks. Shy said there's no known harm, but she tries not to use any medicine longer than needed. I had been on it for years.

I am 10 weeks and will take my whole pregnancy.  There are complications going OFF metformin but not staying on according to my research.

I have several friends who did the same.

I stopped at 12 weeks but only because I got rid of diabetes and was mainly on it because it helps conceive.

I used met to conceive and once I found out I was pregnant (which wasn't until 9 weeks) my doctor told me to stop and the baby and I are both extremely healthy (28 weeks today ) and passed our GD test no problems which was a huge stresser for me ! Good luck momma!

Thank you ladies for your stories. It seems it could go either way. My next app is next Wednesday so ai will know then if I need to keep taking it or not.
