Really want this to work

okay so i just got back in contact with my elementary school friend and his name is antonio and we facetimed and he told me that he use to me like and i told him that i use to like him (Were in high school now By the way) and when i sawl him on facetime my feelings got stronger and i told him that i still like him and i don't know i really wanna make this work between us far as a relationship he's really a nice respectful guy and school smart but it's hard for me to take him seriously he face expressions don't look like it i can kinda feel deep down inside that he really cares and next weekend i'm going to see him but i don't know i really want better for myself i would love to see myself with a better nice guy instead of the other bad guys who've i dated but i start to 2nd guess about him i get that feeling with a lot of people i really don't wanna fuck this up 😩Someone plz help i need advice on. what should i do !!!!
