Need truthful honest answers please!!

My son is 8, almost 9. Do you think this bag is too girly for him for school? It's the messi football players name that is on it. We ordered it online and when it came it's got more pink on it than we expected. Just don't want any kids to take the p**s out of him at school if it's too girly looking. Opinions needed please!!
