I went in for an ultrasound yesterday at 6w1d and it was abnormal. There was a mass in the gestational sac. It was either a chorionic bump or a partial mole. If it's a chorionic bump then it's a bleed or bruise that can go away and I have a 65% chance of having a normal pregnancy. If it's the partial mole than they will have to terminate the pregnancy because it is a chromosomal defect. I am being referred to a specialist and will have another ultrasound in a week. Please keep me in your thoughts. I'm having a hard time processing this as it is my first pregnancy and I'm only 24 and in perfect health. Thanks in advance. 😔
