Swimming on period?

I'm going on a beach holiday with my friends next week and I know I'm going to be on my period all 5 days of it :(

Is it possible to go swimming on your period? I've never done it and I know it says you can use a tampon on boxes but is it dangerous? I've never used a tampon before properly. The only time I did it it hurt a lot so I don't think I can use them.

Would appreciate any advice!

Tampons are not even as dangerous as people proclaim. TSS is very very rare. I'd try tampons out. It's a big uncomfortable like it is wearing a thong for the first time but when you get the hang of it. It's really easy.

Try a black bikini. And I've always thought that the suction between your lady area an the water would keep the blood in? 😂😂 idk what I was thinking. But try a tampon and it the first time it hurt try a different size/absorbency, AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER, it should help lighten it.

Tampons are the way to go! I would just make sure you change your tampon after because one time I didn't and it leaked because it absorbed water from the pool

Tampon? Period shouldn't stop your life. Just spent 5 days at the lake and had mine the whole time. Swam every days (once across the lake) and did all sorts of water sports. It's part of your life. Embrace it.

Wear A Nice Bathing Suit With Your Panties Underneath and A Cover Up . You Don't Have To Be In The Water To Enjoy . Get Your Feet Wet or Sit In The Sand and Take Lots Of Selfies ☺️
