Help! Period Or Implantation?

I had what looked like my period which started last week Thursday - started light, and got darker, didn't seem like a regular period meaning I wasn't flowing as heavy and no major clots. Well here it is Wednesday (my cycle should have ended Monday) and when I wipe I'm now getting bright red blood. Anyone have this happen to them? I took 2 pregnancy test the Sunday before my cycle and got very faint lines on both (not within the 10 min testing window but later in the day) but it was blue dye so I've heard it gives false positives.
