Doubling up?

So I am going to start going on birth control for the first time & my partner and I have been completely exclusive to each other for 3 years. And we've never had any sexual history before each other (so no STI/STDS) & i trust him very much. My question is: once I start my birth control, do I have to continue using condoms as well? (I know you should use an extra back up in your first 7 days) but besides that, should I have to use condoms as well? Let me know

The success rate of the pill is very rarely what is advertised because it's extremely difficult to take it properly (at least for me). If you forget the pill even once in a cycle the rate drops, so I use a condom as well. That's just me though. I recommend doubling up, but it's your sex life :) stay safe!!!

You can, but you don't really have to. I know the pill is anywhere from 99.7%-99.9% effective. I guess it just depends what you wanna do !!

If it's the pill I would make sure to have a routine set up otherwise it's impossible for it to work how it's supposed to. I was way too scared on the pill. Too much lean room to get pregnant.
