Shaving the checks/face

Note: I'm 15. Okay so I have really bad facial hair. I wax (or shave if I'm in a hurry) my upper lip like once every week because it grows back fast. Anyway I have lots of hair on my cheeks and I want to get rid of the hair but I don't want it to grow back thicker or fast. So I was wandering if hair on cheeks grow back faster (if shave or waxed) than upper lip hair.
