Okay so I'm 20 and I've never been to a gynecologist, it just always freaked me out to have someone I don't know looking down there and my mom never forced me to go. I was on the Depo shot for over three years and have now been off it for a little over a year and my husband and I are now trying to conceive, going on four or five months. I don't really know who to go to to get a fertility check (I'm worried the Depo shot altered my fertility somehow because I was ok it so long, also it's just never been checked) or really what to expect from a gyno appointment.
