Canker sore or Oral herpes??

Question

My mom told me if I ever have had a canker sore that automatically means that I have mouth herpes? Is that true? I have three of these in my mouth right now but I couldn't get a picture of the third one. I'm 99% sure they are just canker sores. The last time I had canker sores was probably 1 year and a half ago. Or is it possible it can be herpes? And if that is the case then does that mean I can never give my boyfriend a blow job?

Sooooo many people have the herpes virus. If you've had a canker sore or a cold sore you have the herpes virus, and almost everyone does, but there's different strains. The virus that causes cold sores and genital herpes are both herpes but they are different strains

Not the same thing. I've gotten canker sores since I was a little kid from stress. A lot of people do. Does not mean you have herpes.

You can get canker sores just from accidentally biting your cheek. No need to worry, should go away on its own!

Canker sores are fever blisters but inside the mouth.. It doesn't mean you got it from sex. I was born with cold sores aka fever blisters. Its like a shingles virous. It's totally different from any other kind of herpes although it is in the same family. I get them when I am sick, weather change, stress, any kind of fast emotional change etc. Most of the population has it and even though you might not get them if a parent or so for was born with these sores you automatically are a carrier of the virous. Like I said most likely you were born with them and they are just now showing up. I wouldn't worry too much. SOME people grow out of it like two of my sister's did. One had them inside their mouth and the other had them around the lip.. But either wise you would have them your whole life. If it gets too bad I would visit with your doctor. I just hate when people think it's always a sexual transmitted disease. I think they really need to start teaching that in school, but of course when I was younger people weren't as educated about them, only some doctors were.

You can pass the herpes virus on from your mouth to his genital don't listen to anyone saying you can't yes you can

I'm really sorry to tell you that you may have oral herpes. Refrain from bjs and kissing when you have an active outbreak.
