Clear blue digital test it is possible to get a false negative?

Hi I brought a clear blue digital test yesterday morning I took the test it said NOT PREGNANT!!! My period ain't due until 5 days I have all the symptoms of pregnancy brownish/pinkish spotting for one day only with I wiped sorry TMI) breast hurts, sleeping alot, eating more then usual, very moody etc blue veins on my breast skin is dry cramps real bad had the cramps for two and half weeks now I never cramp two weeks before my period I always cramp a day before ... I think I got an false negative because I took the test apart it has two lines one is faint but why did it say I'm not pregnant...
