We're using as a method of birth control along with barrier methods. If I've seen the sharp dip and then sharp spike, which one represents ovulation? Have I already ovulated and fertility decreased? Or am I about to ovulate? Tryin

A sharp dip then spike means ovulation. If the higher basal temp is sustained for the rest of your cycle, that's confirmation that ovulation occured.
