When to have the baby shower?

So I think most women have their shower at 7 months, my month 7 is out due to being in 2 weddings and Bachelorette parties. I feel like waiting until the 8th month won't give me enough time to organize all the gifts and everything. Is month 6 just way too early?

If you really can't have it at 7 months then do it at 6 months. I was going to have mine on June 8th (8 months) and changed it to May 18th (my mom's birthday). Thank god I did because my daughter decided to arrive 5 weeks early (on June 8th)! You'll definitely need time to prepare the room, etc.

I had mine at 38 weeks and it was no big deal! we had a great time and I still had lots of time to get stuff done! I gave birth a week later :) just have it whenever you feel like it

By organising gifts, do you mean the ones that people give you?

I don't know what you have on your registry, but a lot of gifts are diapers and clothes.

I stacked the diapers in my daughter's closet, and folded the clothes in the dresser.

If anything, don't be afraid to ask for help putting it all away.
