NuvaRing

So I inserted my nuvaring for the first time today and I have a few questions. I'm not sure if I put it in far enough because it kept sliding down to the very edge to where I felt it every time I checked. And it's hard for me to push it in far because I have on acrylic nails. Any tips or advice? As far as inserting, removing, using tampons with it in, and having sex
