Hi! I'm a 16 year old girl and I was wondering what you guys thought about the appropriate age to lose your virginity was. I'm a virgin but I have a HIGH sex drive. I'm talking to a guy right now who is not a virgin, and although he is not pressuring me into doing anything I want too. I was raised in a very strict church that said no sex before marriage but I no longer live in those church standards. I like this guy and we have been talking for about 2 months but I'm not *in love* with him. Would it be wrong to have sex? I don't know how much longer I can hold out. 😂

Wait until your in love. I've seen too many people who later regret having sex when they did instead of waiting for the right person. But I've never known anyone who waited and regretted it. You should never have sex just to do it, or because your curious about it. You should do it because your in love and want to make an intimate connection with that person specificly. Watch some porn, masterbate, get a vibrator, but please don't do something you'll regret, just to know what it's like.

I to was raised Christian and when I was younger didn't understand the value of waiting for sex. I lost my virginty when I was 20 to my first boyfriend and he wasn't a virgin. I do regret it cause I loved him but he could care less. I think you don't want to wait for marriage to at least wait till someone values you! Respects you! Someone that you love. You don't realize now but you are give a price of yourself to that person that your never gonna get back. My second bf became my husband and in the binging we talked about waiting till we were married cause we had both made mistakes that we weren't proud of and wanted to do something different and more meaningful.
