I just git my first period since my Mirena IUD was inserted in January. I had on and off spotting through ~March, then was clear from then on. However, on Thursday I woke up to horrible stomach pains and diarreha and was surprised to find dark brown discharge. The pins went away, but the discharge continued until today when I got a "normal" period. I've been on a business trip, and haven't had sex with my boyfriend in a week, so I don't think it's implantation blood, but we do have unprotected sex 3 or so times a week. I'll take a pregnancy test today, but is this normal? I checked the strings and everything feels normal!
