Nursing cover?

Necessary? Can I just use a swaddle blanket? I always feel so clumsy and exposed... In need of some suggestions.

Take a swaddle blanket, like one of the big Aden Anais muslin blankets and tie 2 corners together and put it over your head, it makes a great cover and stays cool!!

I used crop tops over a tank. It was summer when I had my daughter. The thin straps of the tank came easily off the shoulder while the crop top kept my whole shoulder chest area covered without having excessive material.

If you're going to use a cover, a swaddle blanket is the way to go! They are so large and lightweight, and multipurpose too! Way easier to maneuver than a cover. My baby hates being covered and will scream and rip off whatever is covering him, then will happily continue nursing. So neither worked out for us for long, but I much preferred the swaddle blanket.

I have one that is just like an apron lol. I love it though just goes over my head and then blouses over me and baby. I am a train wreck trying to use a blanket 😂

I just used a blanket the 1st 3 months cause that's all I had, & honestly I didn't really know about nursing covers! But then I saw another lady with this basically infinity scarf looking cover, & ended up buying myself one! It's so cute & I love it! The material is breathable & stretchy, & I finally feel comfortable enough to go out in public because I'm not worried about having to nurse my baby. I got my cover from milksnob.com, but I know there are a lot of other similar options out there. Just depends what you're most comfortable with. My baby's a kicker, so I like a cover that will stay secure. :)

DD moved under mine a ton, so I made one that went over my head like a poncho... I liked that style better, but I wished I'd used a thinner, more breathable material cuz I was hot using it... think I'm gonna make a new one for this baby :)

If you have a scarf u can use it as a cover😊 u don't have to buy one its more easier and convenient.
