Choice that changed your life?

In October of 2011, I got two very different job offers on the same day. I made a choice and it changed my entire life. I met my husband the first day on the job.

I am laying here with my 2 month old son, a son I would not have, with the husband I would not have, if I picked the other job. It's such a crazy thought that I can look back and pinpoint the exact moment I changed my life. I got the call for one job in the morning, and then I was sitting in my sister's dining room when I got the call for the second and while on the phone I made the split second choice to accept that one.

Anyone else have a moment like that?

Yes- I took a job that requires a 1000 mile relocation out of the blue. Met my husband through a mutual friend and then it turned out we worked for the same company. I'm glad I moved, that's for sure

I had a super high housing draw number my senior year of college, so I got to live in a really desirable house. My now-husband was also a senior & was the house manager. If I hadn't gotten such a great TOTALLY RANDOM housing draw number, I never would have met him. Crazy!!!

My husband and I think back and it's like that for us as well!! It's so crazy to think that if things hadn't lined up perfectly we wouldn't have met. My friend took me over to her friends house after I my last day at a seasonal job. They were skyping my husband and we thought that each other was cute. Fast forward and a week later she took me over there again and my husband decided to stay later than he anticipated so we met and hung out all night. I then left on vacation and he invited me to a party when I got back. I already had plans and wasn't going to go but they fell through I ended up going. We were inseparable since then! It's amazing how our lives can change and be so different by a simple choice.

Yes. I decided in high school that I was going to join a new club and it was at the last minute for a sign up. I went to the first meeting and met my husband who had also just decided that day to join the club, if just one of us would have decided to not join that club we wouldn't have met.

Yeah lol mine was a job thing too. I was being promoted to a manager and they said that if I wanted it I would need to go run the new store they were opening which was very far away.. I said no.. But then something made me change my mind I took it and that is where I met my fiance.. I don't work that job anymore neither does he.. But we both think back to it as well. He was finishing high school and got offered 2 jobs and took the one where I was manager cuz it was close to where he lived.. Fate brought us there for sure.
