First Period after Hormonal Iud insertion.

I had my iud fitted on July 15th, I expected to get my period not too long after that. It was a bit 'late' but eventually showed up on July 28th...its now August 8th and I'm still experiencing bleeding. I wouldn't say anything near a period flow, it's definitely spotting but enough of a hassle that I wear my diva cup. Any insights on how long I can expect this spotting without a break? I know to expect spotting for a while, but I was expecting it to be more of a here and there thing...not an continuous thing.
