IUI w normal sperm counts?

Question

Have any of you ladies had an iUI when your partner had normal or above average sperm analysis? Are you glad you did or wish you had stayed with timed intercourse or wish you had gone straight to IVF? 
My husband and I are struggling to decide on a next step... Or if it's time to take the next step.

I've done three. The first one didn't work, second one did (miscarried at 8 weeks), and I'm waiting to hear about the third ?. I think it's worth a shot if you have unexplained infertility.

Honestly, we did 14 months of iui's. With counts in the 5-10 millions. Needless to say it didn't work. We do so many due to our situation. I had surgery and we started over, DH was on hormones. And we couldn't afford ivf. Looking back, I wish we moved to ivf sooner now. If your mans count is less than 5 million, move to ivf. Might be worth seeing a urologist and trying to boost his counts first though. Best of luck.

Yeah, I have had two that failed, despite what they declared to be 'super sperm'. Have moved onto IVF now. IUI has a low success rate anyway 😕

That's what we are dealing with at the moment. My husband has great counts and I ovulate but haven't conceived. Just did our first IUI which didn't work, deciding on if we do another given that it doesn't increase the chances that much or just BD before moving onto ivf next month ☹️

What are the chances of pregnancy with IUI for unexplained?

We had unexplained infertility. dh had normal sperm analysis and after 3 months of clomid alone our first iui worked!

We did 2 IUIs- I have pcos and unexplained fertility. My DH has 70 million, so his numbers are good. I do think that everyone is different- but I am glad that we tried clomid for 6 months, then moved to iuis, then moved to IVF. In my opinion, we didn't want to pay the big $$ when a cheaper less evasive route could have done the trick. Unfortunately, we will start our next step at the end of this month doing IVF.

I have PCOS, and the injections and meds are getting me to ovulate- but after 6 cycles... No pregnancy. So wondering about IUI (even tho my husband checks out fine) before going to IVF.
