Wish my husband would handle the paperwork...
My husband is typically a very supportive and helpful guy, and I know he really really wants to be an involved and loving father! I just wish he would handle the logistics of this pregnancy thing. I mean he obviously can't help with the actual physical end of things, but finding/calling/setting up a pediatrician, calling the insurance company... Anything!! I just feel like it's all on me. Not only do I make the baby but I feel like I'm the only one handling the other end of things, too. I'm the one on the phone figuring out how to get the breast pump covered by insurance, I'm the one figuring out all this maternity leave business, I'm the one researching and calling pediatricians, filling out our pre-registration at the hospital, booking our birthing class, on top of juggling my own prenatal appointments, family obligations, and full time job. I love my husband and I feel like mayb he just doesn't know where to start, but I'm getting frustrated feeling like I'm doing it all alone. He was excited for the fun stuff - the TTC (lol), decorating the nursery, and registering for the shower. But all the boring stuff is left to me. Am I alone?
