How to tell my parents I'm pregnant?!

I'm 18, 19 in August and for the past six months my boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant it's been really hard for me because all I have ever wanted was to be a mother. I would be devastated each month of get a negative test. Mainly because everyone else my age is getting knocked up on accident and I'm trying and it won't happen. Well it's two early to tell but My period is two days late. I'm going to test tomorrow. The problem now is that I'm mortified to have to tell my parents. They will be so disappointed and my whole community will think differently of me. I'm just so nervous.

Hmm I don't know I think if your are afraid to tell your parents that means you are still way too young to think about pregnancy.

Carly, please don't say that God would let you have a baby because He believes you can handle it. God lets us make our own choices, a free will. God loves you and wants what's best. What I'm trying to say is that it's not God's will that you would have a baby out of marriage because that is a sin. Just make sure you are making the right choice. Being a parent is a lifetime job. Having children is a wonderful thing, but if you truly want what's best for your child you need to create a loving and stable home first. You're young, there's plenty of time :) get an education, travel and find a career that you love, and if that career is being a mommy then that's great! But you will change as you get older so explore you options first.

I got pregnant at a younger age while living at my moms house and I was terrified to tell her. I just sat down and said I have something to tell you, I'm pregnant. She just got up and gave me a hug and then just wanted to know what I was planning on doing and was very supportive. I was surprised that she was not angry. I asked her recently why she wasn't and she just told me that she knew I had a lot on my plate and it was her job to support me and help me through. We became very close when I was pregnant and even closer now that my daughter is a year and a half. Good luck telling them bc I know how scary it can be, but you will feel so much better once you have!!

Girl look just say F**k it and tell them it will hurt them more and piss them off more if u lie and hide it and at the end of the day they are ur parents and they have no choice but to have ur back.. It won't b as bad as bad as u think.. Remember you are pregnant .. Don't listen to these old fashion ppl on here telling you are too young cuz guess what ?!?!? TOO LATE should have said that to her a few months ago these ppl are not ur parents to be preaching to you because only God knows what they have under their belt

Mmm depends how they would take it . The way I told my mom was I had tooken a test and it was positive and I told my mom mann I need u to take me to the store I know this test is wrong ; then she did and it came back positive & I cried . Lol but Idk best approach I guess just be straight forwarded instead of tryna beat around the bush about it. Ya they will be upset but they love u .
