Husband worried about my breastfeeding
I'm 34-3 days. This is my 3rd baby but my husbands first. I breastfed my oldest son for 6 weeks and my youngest son until he was 10 1/2 months. I am dead set on breastfeeding our daughter but my husband doesn't get the connection. He works out of state and is afraid that he won't be able to bond with her unless he bottle feeds her. I have never fed my others with a bottle but did pump. I guess I'm just worried about him seeing how important it is for her to have the healthiest food she can. I'm not sure how to explain it to him that it's more for her than it is for him. No one in his family has ever nursed before so he is oblivious to the benefits that I already know. I have a nice pump but not sure when I can start pumping and introduce a bottle to her on the weekends he is home compared to the 90% of the time that I will have her alone. Please any advice or suggestions would be amazing.....I'm kinda nervous how to fix this.
