Teething help!

My LO is 4 months and 1 week and this is the first time I can tell she's really in pain from teething! It's so hard to watch her in pain. Any advice out there? I'd REALLY like to stay away from Tylenol & orajel (but currently using the orajel naturals tablets) if I can. We do cold teethers and cold washcloths but she prefers my finger to chomp down on! I've even rubbed a tiny bit of whiskey across her gums when nothing else seemed to work. Any other advice ?? And how long is this gonna last!? :(
