Me, him, or the lube?

Hey guys so my man and I were going at it real hard the other night and we always use lube. Well we had just finished and when he pulled out he asked if I had started my period again even though I had just ended about a week ago. I cleaned myself up and took the sheets downstairs to wash and put a tampon in. The next morning I took the tampon out and there was no blood. Was it me that possibly ripped, him, or the lube? He's going through kidney stones if that helps? This has never happened before and it was like the blood when you have sex for the first time.
