Did you poop during labor

7 months pregant and im scared I'm going to! :((((((

I did, and I birthed naturally in a tub with my hubby sitting behind me haha. It wasn't much and the assistant scooped it out with a little fish net haha. We still laugh about it. It's not a big deal, I know it seems like it is, and before I was in labor I cared about it too, but once I was there I was laughing, having a good time and joking about the floaters. You're having a baby, you're doing something amazing, super cool and spectacular, enjoy the experience and don't worry about that stuff unduly. Wishing you an easy labor!

Is it weird that I'm not worried about this? If I poop, I poop. At least it'll be because I'm giving birth to my baby and not just me accidentally sharting my pants.

Honestly the way I looked at it was that the nurses were used to it and it's part of their job. Just don't think about it and if you're worried just think that about the fact that they have seen worse!!

I didn't poop while pushing but b4 that while actually in labor I had diarrhea so there was nothing left in me while I pushed hahaha

Lol just use the bathroom before you leave for the hospital.

Its not a big deal at all. The nurses are very practiced at handling it and they do it quick. I'm a doula most people do poop. Its handled quickly and in a way that you may never know it happened

Wells during my first labor I did! My sister whispered it to me, but I was in the room with her, my ex, and his mother and sister....it was embarrassing! That's what I get for eating during the entire labor. Lol Honestly it was embarrassing when she told me, but I was in so much pain that it didn't matter!

I was so afraid I was going to when I started pushing. The dr actually told me to push harder cause I was holding back. But I didn't thankfully. I probably coulda had her out in half the time it took me if I wasn't so concerned about pooping.

Even if you do, I hope no one tells you lol. I didn't, only reason I know, pictures..... I appreciate the fact that my family took pictures for me, but it could have waited when they put her in the little basket thing. It will happen. There will be lots of embarrassing thing that will happen. But no one is going to laugh, or point it out. Everyone just wants to see that baby. Lol. Don't be scared. It's completely normal.

Most people do, even if it's just a little bit, they just don't realize it.  Don't worry, nurses and doctors just wipe it away and carry on!  Ask your midwife or Ob, they will tell you almost everyone does :)
