Don't know where to post this.....

Ok, so this is about my mother in law. I really need some advice! Sorry in advance for the long post.....

About a year ago she had weight loss surgery. Since then, she's become very self centered and unreliable.

Three weeks ago, I hurt my knee and I'm unable to do much. She stepped right up and OFFERED to take care of the gardens, housework, wash, and whatever else I wasn't able to do. Now, let me just say, I HATE relying on others. It's just not me, I do stuff myself. The first week, she did help. But the last two weeks she's been here 3 times total. I'm in WNY and we are in a severe drought right now. Our gardens need to be watered just about daily. She keeps texting my husband saying something came up or that she has a date with a new guy from POF or with one of her 3 boyfriends.

Now, if she hadn't OFFERED to help, I wouldn't be thinking twice about this but she has no integrity and that's a huge pet peeve for me. This is not like her, from before the weight loss. It's causing arguments between my husband and I. He doesn't think it's a big deal, but stuff isn't getting done around the house and it REALLY bothers me!

I would ask him to help, but because I'm unable to work right now he's been working 12hr shifts, 13 out of 14 days. He's helping to keep us afloat.

So, anyways....should I say something to her or just shut my mouth and let everything in the house fall apart??
