Marginal cord insertion
Hey everyone!
This is my first pregnancy and we are coming up to the 24 week mark this Friday. My OB just let me know our son to be has marginal cord insertion, where the umbilical cord inserts on the sides of the placenta rather than the center. She insists it's nothing to worry about but after research it isn't the most common thing, and can result in low birth weight babies. Does anyone else have experience with this? And how did Labour go for you? I am hoping for an all natural birth.
Thank you!
