SO distancing himself because he's not interested or just overwhelmed ? Need advice !

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 months and it was this instant connection. We have moved fast because we can't resist our feelings. He is an accountant and just started "busy season." He works from 8:30am-9:30pm during this time. We never have been the couple to text everyday all day. But I asked during this time to send each other a text in the morning and a good night text. He hasn't been doing either really...is he not interested anymore or just overwhelmed with work? We see each other like once during the week and Friday-Sunday. I'm trying to make this busy time easy for him. I don't want to lose him. What should I do?

It seems like you see him quite a bit. Your relationship is very early. To spend 4 days a week together is a lot! I think it's normal if you don't talk for a day when you've been dating 3 months. If you act too clingy, he will be turned off and might run away.

If you want to see or talk to someone, you will make the time to see or talk to that person no matter how busy you are. I'm an accountant. We are not so busy that we can't send a text or make a phone call even during our busiest times. If he's not making the effort to talk to you, it's not that important to him.

For me I always make time for the people I care about. It's not hard or take a lot of effort to send a text or a quick phone call. But people do handle stress differently. If he's lost interest there's not much you can do but if it's just work is consuming him right now it's just something you both have to work on so there is some communication. I say just talk to him about it. You'll never know if you don't ask.
