How old when your LO lost their umbilical cord?

My little guy just lost his. He will
Be a week old tmro. So can we give him a bath now or do they have to be 6 weeks?

As long as it's healed. My daughter lost hers at 10 days. We did sponge baths for weeks though.

6 days old. I didn't give her a real bath until 5 weeks. It's just easier to sponge bathe and baby isn't really dirty so I think it works fine for us.

My sons cord fell out at 3 weeks! We just gave him a sponge bath before that

You can bathe them as soon as the cord falls and everything is healed.
