Nexplanon and antibiotics?

I just had oral surgery yesterday and was put on antibiotics. I know antibiotics can effect being on the pill but can it effect the nexplanon implant. I'm not trying to get pregnant anytime soon and I don't want to end up with a surprise pregnancy.

It depends on the type of antibiotic! Ask your doctor and use Google, you can find out pretty easily. I'm on Zithromax right now and it does NOT counteract.

Yes! I had that implant before and was put on antibiotics and it will affect your BC. If you really don't want a baby, do not have sex with another form of protection through your antibiotics and a week or so following.
