Does sex really works ?

With my second child I gave birth to her at 38 weeks 5 days I remember the day before me and hubby had sex and it work! 
Does sex really put you in labor? I've been hearing it's true tomorrow I'll be 39 weeks with my 5th child I'm just scared he's never gonna be born all 4 of my other children's came on there own and this one just taking his time. My 4th was born 39 weeks 3 days I'm hoping he come this week because doctor wants to induced me and I don't want to be induced next week I want him come on his own.

Honestly it's just one of the many things you can try that are not guaranteed to start labor but may end up being one of the contributing factors in getting labor started. My recommendation: if you and hubby are "feeling it" then by all means go for it! But don't put yourself through uncomfortable sex just to get labor started because it's not necessarily going to do anything!! Good luck!! :)

Nope. 40+3 today. Have had plenty of sex in the past 2+ weeks (not with the intention of inducing until just last night), and as of yesterday my cervix is still CLOSED. No contractions or anything today, not even BH. This was after a lot of walking, aromatherapy, AND acupressure yesterday.
