Well, this sucks.
We're well into year three of TTC. I had my second IUI, after they found and removed some endometriosis, 2 weeks ago. For the last 2-3 days I have been getting squintastically squinty HPTs. I went in for bloodwork and my HcG is 5.47. Just high enough for the doctors to not call it an utter failure, and low enough for them to tell me they don't think it will result in anything in two days when I go back to retest. I guess that means it was a chemical pregnancy? If so that's the closest we've gotten in all this time. I'm distraught and trying not to be hopeful because the nurse made it sound like I shouldn't. My husband seems "ok" with it since it shows that with the endometriosis removed we have a chance. I'm not sure I can share his optimism.
Anyone have and experience like this that actually resulted in a pregnancy? Just curious (and stupidly hopeful even though I just said I was trying not to be)...
