Over 35?

Any other moms over 35? Anyone know if doctor will monitor any differently?

I am 36, just got BFP this morning. I'm not sure yet, but my sister in law did have to see special doctors because of her age, her son will be 2 at the end of the month an she is only 3 years older than I am. So she was 36. I have friend who is also 36 and is 13 weeks and said so far she has not been sent to any different doctors. And she had a hard time getting pregnant and had a miscarriage earlier this year... So it differs.

Hi I'm 38 and 4w with no baby no 4 , I was pregnant earlier this year which I lost at 11 w , at my last booking appointment midwife done a risk assessment and because of age and previous pregnancys which I didn't have any problems from start to finish , it said I needed consultant care i think it down to the individual , the hospital policy snd were u are , I'm in the uk in durham area , with all my pregnancys there has been loads of different  thinks u can and can't do, and who and how u r looked after , good luck everyone

I'm 35. A friend was surprised the hospital has put me under a consultant dr rather than midwife but I'm not sure if that is just that hospitals procedure or that I'm 35 I'm now high risk. I was going to ask asy appt next week.
