Do you struggle with breathing while in labour??

Read that a few people on here really struggled with breathing whilst in labour?? It's really panicked me now as I struggle alot anyway due to anxiety. Does this happen to everyone??? Helppp!

I found that once the contractions were unbearable, taking deep breaths helped so much to get through the pain. It happened naturally and I have bad anxiety at times btw.

I didn't struggle with breathing, thank goodness.. I was so far in the zone that I was FOCUSED, lol. I'm kinda worried about this go round though, because I've had severe anxiety issues since then, and lose my breath with BH contractions this pregnancy. Just going to cross my fingers, and hope for the best! Might as well go with the flow!

Nope! I didn't find it hard to breathe while in labor. It just hurts. Like a really really bad stomach ach. After 16 hrs I had an epidural and my son was born at 19. 
Needless to say I'm getting an epidural immediately with this one. It was a breeze after that.

I don't know about specifically in labour as I'm not there yet so will watch this...... but I am a nurse and do a lot of work on relaxation and deep breathing. There are some techniques you can learn to help calm yourself... May be worth practicing in advance X
