Anyone else have this issue?

My son will fall asleep while he's eating, and he will still suckle, but not full on eating. After a few minutes my nipple starts to burn. Why is that?

My mom always said that was the feeling you get when you are empty, but I'm not sure:)

I usually take my baby off when it burns and if he's hungry he will fix his latch, if he's asleep he will just be done.

I think it happens when they start to fall asleep because they don't stay latched the same way inside their mouth and tongue. Almost like rubbing a blister.

I have the same issue its making me nuts and when we are done feeding my nipple is flat.. Signs of a bad latch 😔

Anyone else have this issue?
