I don't see a point to dressing your newborn in designer clothes a baby's clothes should be comfortable and not for show. I understand that it's nice to have fancy clothes but children grow so so fast, you could buy a designer tshirt for £60+, while you could buy 30 comfortable £2 tshirts for that price. Children are messy also so better with the cheaper clothes. I believe designer stuff should be for when a child is older and can appreciate the price of stuff and the name.

If Walmart is a name brand, then yes. I have a ruff and tumble three year old, all his clothing comes from yard sales, thrift stores or Walmart if we need something without grass stains.

I was a Carters fanatic with my 1st for the 1st year. Then I realized its all stained after one wear anyways. It just doesnt make sense to spend a lot on clothes they outgrow lightning fast and stain up after one or two uses.

I buy my kids clothes mostly from target, old navy, children's place and carters and shoes I go to vans but that's just because I like to buy what lasts I shop sales use coupons and points rewards

My son wears target and old navy clothes. And he has converse and champion shoes. I'm really picky about his clothes because if he doesn't look good then I don't look good. He always has to look better than me.

I consign shop and do garage sales for designer clothes and only buy if they are in great condition but I refuse to pay full price for something he will wear for a very short time. I did buy him a Ralph Lauren outfit to wear under his christening outfit. But that was for something special. I buy other clothes from all kinds of other stores. He is always dressed neatly, and cleanly! To me that is what is the most important.
