Dry heaving?

So my name is Brittany and this is my first pregnanct. Heres the thing I don't throw up, at all... I get super naseaus and lately I've been dry heaving but nothing actually comes up. Is this normal or should I worry?

I will be talking to someone and all of a sudden I'll gag, pause, and then I just continue talking. Lol yay pregnancy!

Happens to me all the time.. I'll get a ridiculous amount of saliva. Sometimes I do actually puke but a lot of the time it's just spit and a lot of burping lol

In nearly 6 weeks of "morning" sickness I have had constant dry heaving and have only thrown up 4 times. My doctor gave me a vitamin B6 prescription and said to stay hydrated. It helped some, but I still have nausea. I'm hoping the second trimester will cure me!

Same boat. It's kinda hard because other people don't really see you as being SO SICK when you're not actually throwing up...have you tried a sea band? It takes the edge off a little bit for me so I can at least keep a few bites of food down here and there.

That happened to me turns out I wasn't getting enough fluids (due to nausea it was hard to drink) I had to go to the hospital to get fluids 😭 but it stopped my dry heaving

That's what I have been doing for weeks/ I am actually thankful for keeping my food down its just annoying

I went through this for the last two weeks. I just didn't have anything left because I couldn't eat. Be careful not to get dehydrated. My doctor told me if I'm only peeing a couple times a day and it's dark yellow/orange to go to the hospital and get fluids.

Same here! Im happy for it though my first pregnancy (ended in MC) I didn't have any of my current symptoms. Just means a healthy baby

Totally normal mama and I'm in the same boat unfortunately 😷 stick it out it should taper off towards the end of the first trimester.

Ps Arizona green tea works wonders for me.
