How well do tampons work?

This is my first time using one and I'm really not sure if they work very well or not

Once you start using them it'll seem like pads are the worse option

I just started using them this week and one day I was late to school and didn't use the toilet before I left (still having the same tampon in over night) and I soon began experiencing dizziness, which is a symptom of TSS so I took it out, but I'm still using them and I'm fine so overnight isn't a good idea haha

Yes, tampons work. That being said, you need to use them correctly in order for them to work for you. Be sure to use a tampon with an absorbency that matches your flow. You wouldn't want to use a "heavy" tampon when your flow is very light. Also, be sure your tampon is inserted correctly. Otherwise, you might experience pain or discomfort.

it's scary when you first start. they can be hard to get into routine with and I ised to be obsessed with TSS scares
but they work SO MUCH BETTER than pads
