pacifier while breastfeeding??

Question

My baby girl is 10 weeks old and I would like to give her a pacifier, but I am scare she might be confused or get any infections. 
What kind of pacifier did you give it baby!? Does it take a long time for them to get used to it? Should I give my baby one or not!? What is ur opinion in this subject?

My baby has had a pacifier since day one and has never been confused when time to breastfeed. We use the soothie (avent brand) and she loves it (and breastfeeding!)

Same here. My LO is EBF and also use the pacie. When my LO is hungry he will give me the cues and has not been confused, actually he sometimes takes the pacie and if he doesn't want it spits it out... If he is hungry he will get aggressive with it and then spit it out. I use the Dr. Browns pacie (similar to the one that comes with the Lovie giraffe).

We've been using a pacifier since our son was 2 days old and he's now 11 weeks.  He's never had any confusion and will take the soothie paci still.  He is breast fed but now that I am back to work gets pumped bottles.

We've used a pacifier since day 1 and it didn't cause any confusion, however, each baby is different.  Hope that all works out!!

She's taken the soothie pacifier since day 2. She spits it out and refuses it when she's hungry. Never a problem taking breast. She loves the pacifier during the day when she wants to suck on something and at bedtime. It can be harder to get them on a pacifier the longer you wait.

My LO is 10 weeks old as well and she has had a pacifier since day 1. No issues with breastfeeding at all. She knows the difference.  We use the tommee tippee pacifier. It's the only one she will take.
