Ok so it's our 1st year marriage anniversary Monday. We've been together 5 years but married 1. Well I planned a nice getaway to San Antonio, Tx at the Menger Hotel...it's a GORGEOUS 5 star hotel that had glowing reviews. Well I always do the pay later option on Priceline just in case something comes up. Well as I was doing some more research this evening something caught my eye. The Menger has a nickname of being the "most haunted hotel in Texas." NOPE. HELL NOPE. So I freak out and start looking for other places. I'm spoiled to the classic and old time charm of the menger so I had high expectations for the next one. Well by midnight I finally found a nice place that's in the location we want to be so I decided to cancel our reservation and make a new one at the non ghostly hotel. I missed the free cancellation by 10 freaking minutes. 😡😡😡😡 what do I do?? Do I pay the $130 cancellation or do you think they'll be nice and not charge me?! Help! I already feel like our anniversary is ruined 😭 we were so looking forward to a beautiful weekend getaway just the two of us and I just want to stay home now...
