Sooo let me explain. I was on the pill- couldn't always get it on track- so I looked into IUDs and ended up getting the paraguard. Ever since I got on that my periods were crazy heavy and the cramps were so bad that I was glued to my couch with a heating pad on my stomach all day. So I went back to my doctor and she explained that due to paraguard being hormone free that's why I was experiencing the periods and cramps the way I was. I asked her if I could have the IUD in as preventative purposes and take the pill for lighter periods and she said I could do that.. So I have two questions. Has anyone ever been on two birth controls at once like me?? It's been six months that I've been on both and periods are still very irregular. I have periods like every other week.... Is it normal for it to still be irregular like this?
