D&C July 13th and had sex 2 days after

Took a pt a week later and positive. Doc says we won't know if it's left over hcg from first pregnancy. They say it will take 8 weeks till I know if I have my rainbow baby. Anyone been through this pregnancy limbo? I'm so anxious and so really want to be pregnant. I can't stand not knowing... I'm in a nightmare.
