Discharge

Ever since I can remember; back to when I was ten years old or younger (I am 19), I have had a yellow-ish/clear/white discharge (it changes) that happens EVERY DAY. My mom has told me that this was normal, my doctor never said much about it, but I haven't been to a gynecologist yet. I wear pantiliners to handle it. Some days it is more, some days it is less. It seems to be a little heavier and "lumpy" (but whitish) right before my period. But throughout the rest of my cycle it is usually very light yellow or clear. No pain. There is occasionally a bit of a smell, but otherwise it is scentless. I used to get yeast infections quite often when I was younger, but I haven't had one for years. At least not that I know of, nothing has gotten to the point where I go to the doctors to get it checked out. But I occasionally get worried about why this is happening. Why me? I ask. Is there any explanation to why I have had this permanent discharge for years? Is it normal? Should I be concerned?
